Alex is the chief editorial contributor for Peterborough Possibilities, a publication with three annual editions so far. The special section explores the County and City of Peterborough as the ideal location to live, work, and play, and showcases the successes and innovations of Peterborough's diverse and thriving business community.
More than 110,000 copies of the most recent edition were printed and distributed through Toronto Transit Commission newspaper boxes, as well as to Peterborough This Week's regular readership in 2016. The Peterborough Business and Industry magazine features profiles of many of the region's most successful companies, and focuses on issues relevant to Peterborough's business community.
Alex has contributed over a hundred pieces to these publications since joining Peterborough This Week. Some past stories include: 'Local leaders forging Peterborough's economic future', 'Cutting-edge H20 research to help millions here and abroad', and many more. |
Alex has had the pleasure of shooting a wide range of community events, weddings, trade shows, red carpet portraits, business showcases and much more during his time at Peterborough This Week and through his business, Budget Smart Imaging, before that.
In his free time, he also enjoys capturing images of the beautiful natural landscapes and wildlife of the Kawarthas. |
In addition to the many special publications Alex helps to produce each year, he also writes weekly 'Wheels' automotive articles and 'Connected to Business' community stories, along with bi-weekly 'Zooming @50+' pieces, 'Digital Didja Know' columns and more.
These, along with occasional special interest sections and feature pieces, have appeared in print editions of both Peterborough This Week and Kawartha Lakes This Week, and online at www.mykawartha.com |
